🏁 TCR Madness at Thruxton – 4 Hours of Chaos, Comebacks, and Carnage! 🏁

What. A. Weekend. The team rolled into Thruxton for an adrenaline-fueled 4-hour endurance showdown, facing off against a mammoth grid of 60 cars. Sara Dove was supposed to go solo for the Dream Team but a last-minute sickness threw a wrench in the plans. Sophie Aeronwen stepped up and shared the day of battles with Sara making it a 2-people team for the 4 hours event. From wild crashes to heroic comebacks, here’s how it all went down:
Qualifying: Sara Dove Sets the Stage
Sara took the wheel for qualifying and delivered a solid performance, securing P27 in a fiercely competitive field. With a long race ahead, it was all to play for.
Race Start: Mayhem from the Get-Go
The lights went out and absolute chaos ensued—10 cars out in the opening lap! Sara got caught in the melee, taking a spin and dropping a few spots, but kept the car in one piece and pressed on.
Hour 2: Sophie Fights Back
With us battling around P20, Sophie Aeronwen jumped in and immediately began slicing through the field. But just as momentum was building, disaster struck again—a backmarker refused to yield and spun her around, costing us precious time.
Hour 3: Sara Strikes Again
Sara was back in for her second stint, now within reach of the top 10! Things were heating up until evasive action to avoid a spinning car led to a brush with the wall. The car stayed running, but the incident set us back.
Final Hour: Heartbreak at the End
Sophie returned for the final push, eyes locked on a top-10 finish. With just 5 minutes to go, in the thick of a nail-biting battle for position, a high-speed collision sent her into the barriers—race over.
Final Result: P27 – Right Where We Started, But What a Fight!
It wasn’t the finish we dreamed of, but the grit, determination, and raw speed from both drivers gave the crowd a real show. The team showed heart through every twist, spin, and battle.
