What is Team America Talent Scout?

Team America Talent Scout by INIT Esports is more than just a race series, it’s a driver evaluation program designed to build a national roster capable of competing in international, nation-based sim racing competitions.

This isn’t about winning a single event. It’s about proving yourself across different cars, tracks, and challenges. Showing consistency, adaptability, and racecraft at the highest level.

Spa Event Format

  • ⏱️ 10-minute Qualifying

  • 🏁 Race 1 – 20 minutes

Qualifying – Tight at the Top

Spa delivered immediately. With a massive field, the margins were razor-thin:

  • Just 1 second covered the top 10 drivers

  • Several big names missed out on the top 10

  • Every lap mattered — and every mistake was punished

A clean opening lap set the tone, with the top three holding position early.

Further back, chaos brewed:

  • Previous podium finisher Kale Davidson was caught in an incident and dropped down the order

  • Tight packs across the field led to multiple tangles

At the front:

  • Johnson, Baty, and Turner remained locked together in the slipstream for over half the race

  • A key moment came at Les Combes, where Turner hit dirty air and lost control into the wall, falling to P14

  • Gerson Herrera ➡️ +12 positions

  • Jesse Lavorin ➡️ +14 positions

With the grid set by Race 1 results, the tension only increased.

  • Johnson got another strong launch

  • Baty stayed close behind

A major moment early:

  • Roman Lee cut Eau Rouge and received a slowdown penalty, dropping to P6

From there, Spa delivered nonstop action:

  • Huge slipstream packs

  • Battles across the entire field

  • Constant position changes

Fight of the Race – P3 Battle

A standout fight developed between:

  • Roman Lee

  • Nathaniel Fryman (previous Team America podium finisher)

  • Kelton Quick

They battled hard but clean all race long — exactly what this program is designed to highlight.
