On September 30 & October 1, 2025, the first National High School and College Sim Racing Showdown will put the fastest student racers in North America to the test. Whether you’re a high school student dreaming of esports glory or a college driver ready to prove your racecraft, this is your moment to compete, represent your school, and make your mark.
Why Now?
Init Esports is currently organizing the TEAM USA Talent Scout Events to create a roster of sim racing athletes for the Esports Olympics. As the Talent Scout Events are open to everyone, we have decided to elevate the chances for American students by starting two, full-on, legitimate sim racing national school championships pipeline.
🎓 For High School Students – National High School Sim Racing Showdown
📅 Date: Tuesday, September 30, 2025
🕗 Race Start: 8:00 PM EST
🚗 Car: Toyota GR86
🏟 Track: Charlotte Roval
⏱ Length: 1.5–2 Hours
North American high school students will battle on the legendary Charlotte Roval in the Toyota GR86. No simulator required—just a PC, internet connection, and the drive to compete. You must own iRacing, but the content for the race is free of charge.
Why join? This is the first step to prove that every sim racing category is live and well in the USA High School ecosystem, and there is a desire to compete and possibly represent the country in the Esports Olympics.
🎓 For College Students – National College Sim Racing Showdown
📅 Date: Wednesday, October 1, 2025
🕗 Race Start: 8:00 PM EST
🚗 Car: GT3
🏟 Track: Road Atlanta
⏱ Length: 1.5–2 Hours
College drivers from across the nation will go head-to-head in GT3 cars on the iconic Road Atlanta circuit—one of the most thrilling and technical tracks in sim racing.
Why join? It’s your chance to represent your school, test your skills against the best collegiate drivers, and potentially secure your path toward the TEAM USA Talent Scout Event and the Esports Olympics.
