šŸ Screen to Speed 2026 – Event 3 Recap Tsukuba Circuit | Toyota GR86

  • 3 min read

Screen to Speed continues to deliver exactly what it was built for, a competitive, supportive, all-women’s championship where drivers can push, learn, and race hard in a space designed for them.

Event 3 at Tsukuba proved once again that this grid is only getting stronger.

šŸ“‹ TsukubaĀ Event FormatĀ 4/19/2026

  • 10-minute open qualifying

  • 2 x 20-minute races

  • Tight, technical Tsukuba layout → nonstop action

šŸŽļø Race 1 – Close From Lights to Flag

Sara Dove led the field to green from pole, alongside Lucia Tosi and Kristina Ryan.

A clean launch from the front-runners meant the top 5 held formation early, but the pressure never let up.

Kristina Ryan wasted no time, making a decisive move on Tosi at the start to take P2 — and from there, she stayed locked onto Dove’s rear bumper.

Further back, previous podium finisher Olivia Krzyanowska got caught up in early contact, dropping down to P10 and forced into recovery mode.

Up front? Absolute intensity.

Less than a second covered the top 5 for nearly the entire race, constant pressure, no mistakes, and zero breathing room.

šŸ”„ Race 2 – Battles Turn Into a War

The grid reset based on Race 1 results, meaning Round 2 started exactly where things left off.

The first half looked calm… but it didn’t stay that way.

Kristina Ryan had learned from Race 1.

At the halfway mark, she made her move on Dove for the lead — and that’s when everything exploded.

A three-way fight broke out between:

  • Kristina Ryan

  • Sara Dove

  • Lucia Tosi

Position changes. Crossovers. Constant pressure.

Lap after lap, they traded places in one of the best battles of the season so far.

Ryan eventually managed to break free, building just enough of a gap — about half a second — to escape the chaos behind.

šŸ“ø Final Lap Drama

While Ryan edged away, the fight for P2 came down to the wire.

Into the final corner of the final lap:

Sara Dove sent it to the inside of Lucia Tosi.

Side-by-side to the line…

0.001 seconds.

A true photo finish — one of the closest in Screen to Speed history.
